Channels

Channels are containers you create to log events for each of your sources. A channel can be a web app, CMS, mobile app, script, or literally anything. This allows you to view and manage all of your admin events across all of your sources in one place.

Events

Events are any action or information that originates from your channels, created via our REST API. The usage of events is endless. Some common examples are a new user signing up, an order being placed, a code execution error, an import finishing, etc.

Alerts

Create rule-based alerts to be notified when events are logged that meet the exact criteria that you specify. This allows you to decide who gets notified, for which events, and how. Notification options include email, Slack, webhooks, and more to come.

REST API

Easily and quickly integrate with our REST API, built using the JSON API standard, to create, view, and manage your channels and events.

Alerts can be created for each individual channel, each set to use a specific, configurable notification method. Using the available filters for event severity and type, alerts can be used to send notifications of certain events to certain people, using the notification method they prefer.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are channels?

Channels are containers for events. One should be created for each event source, such as a web app, mobile app, CMS, blog, etc.

How do the event limits work?

There is no limit on the amount of events that can be logged each month. The limits above represent how many events per-channel can be stored at a given time. If you exceed your quota and do not want to upgrade your plan, you can either delete existing events or wait for them to expire automatically.

Is my payment information safe?

We use Stripe to manage payment processing and information. We do not store any sensitive financial data of yours.

How can I ask more questions?

How does the pricing work?

The prices stated above are for each channel in your account. For example, if you have 5 channels and are subscribed to the basic plan your monthly cost would be $15. The quotas apply to each individual channel.

Can I change my plan?

Yes, you can change your plan at any time. Simply visit the Billing section once you are logged in to the application and select the plan you want.

Can channels subscribe to different plans?

Not at this time. The plan you choose applies to all channels in your account. You cannot pick different plans for individual channels.

Is a credit card required for the free trial?

No. You can create an account in under a minute with just your email address, name, and a password. The free trial lasts 14 days. If you wish to continue after the trial, you can enter your credit card.
